For SS20, the sportswear imprint continues to release sneakers that challenge a male-dominated industry, this time around reworking classics including the DMX Series 2200 Zip, Aztrek Double, Court Double Mix, Club C and Classic Leather. The collection has been created by women and plays on a 2001 advertisement dubbed “It’s A Woman’s World,” once again releasing sneakers that feature the minimalistic yet strong “
It’s a Man’s World” message.
The first three sneakers feature a white upper made from either suede or leather depending on the silhouette and incorporate an extended mesh webbing in their designs. They are subtle yet somewhat technical, leaving the campaign slogan to stand out in its black and red colorway.
The Club C and Classic Leather appear in matte black with glossy black “It’s a Man’s World” typography on the mid panels and tongue — the latter of which is crossed out in bold red stripes.
