Nike Celebrate's Football's Fastest Players With New Mercurial Dream Speed
With a colorway inspired by the speed of light.
Nike has followed up the release of its Mercurial Dream Speed football boot with a new colorway designed for some of world football’s fastest players. the Nike Mercurial Dream Speed 2 will be worn by players including Kylian Mbappé, Cristiano Ronaldo and Sam Kerr, celebrating how their speed and pace sets them apart from their rivals.
The boot’s bright, gradient “Lemon Venom/Aurora/Black” colorway is inspired by the various frequencies of light and their corresponding speed, with the same eye-catching design spanning the foot plate. Continuing to celebrate the importance of speed, a series of numbers marking the speed of light are outlined on the Swoosh.
The Nike Mercurial Dream Speed 2 is available now from the Nike web store, keep an eye for it to be worn by Mbappé, Ronaldo and Kerr on-pitch.
