Yohji Yamamoto Crafts a Lush $5,358 USD Velour Coat
Etched with traditional artwork.

Following its minimal SS20 capsule with New Era, Yohji Yamamoto is back with another sleek silhouette from its latest seasonal lineup. Featured is an elongated coat, featuring traditional artwork over lush velour fabric.
The piece comes with a long cut that extends past the knees, all the way down to the ankles. It boasts wide spread collars and a large central flap closure that covers the left side of the body. Contrasting the sleek black finish of the garment is a large red image of a warrior holding a sword, dressed in a billowing robe that’s detailed with intricate paisley motifs. The image covers a large portion of the body, starting from the upper right side of the chest, near the shoulder, ending at the hem. Rounding up the coat’s design, the piece sees a small pocket at the left side and a straight hemline, completed with tonal stitching all around for an opulent finish.
The Yohji Yamamoto Black Velour Coat is currently available at H. LORENZO’s website for $5,358 USD.
