Pi'erre Bourne Drops Trippy New Visuals for "Try Again"
Laced with rich 3D animation.
Pi’erre Bourne has just unveiled new visuals for the song “Try Again,” a cut off his eponymous 16-track LP The Life of Pi’erre 4, which came out last June — the last music video from the rapper-producer was released back in August for “Poof.”
At approximately two and a half minutes, the song is backed by minimal instrumentals in signature Bourne fashion, made up of clean 808s, lush synth chords and crisp hi-hats. Nodding to the color of the rapper’s album art, the video starts off with a deep purple tint, embellished with 3D animation. The video is packed with cuts of hazy iridescent lights and animated overlays that give the visuals a trippy effect. Bourne is seen fully dressed in a purple Supreme x The North Face ski jacket and pants, which echos the purple outfit seen in a cut near the end, depicting the rapper as a character of a retro game.
