New Balance is Offering Customized Colorways for the 992
Adding a personal touch to the textured silhouette.

New Balance brought back its retro 992 silhouette earlier this year, and just two months later, the brand is now offering fans a chance to fully personalize their very own pair.
Made available now on the Boston-based company’s NB1 platform, the model can be customized from head to toe, with an impressively wide range of colors to choose from — some parts offering up to 17 different shades. With a highly textured silhouette like the 992 which carries so many different panels, the possibilities are endless. Apart from colors, the NB1 system also allows you to change up its material construction too, with various components such as the saddle by the midfoot, the heel tabs, or the tongue panels offering suede, synthetic fabric, or even reflective options. And if you’re having trouble with all the choices, fret not — New Balance also displays a few different custom colorways as suggestions for a starting point.
For those looking to personalize their very own pair of New Balance 992, head over to the sportswear brand’s NB1 platform now. Each pair will retail for $190 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear, Nike’s Air Force 1 and Blazer are now releasing with “Sketch” scribbles.
