Nike Air Max 98, Air Max 270 React and Air Max 200 Get Metallic Gradients
Boldly-accented takes on three popular Nike Sportswear silhouettes.
Synthetic materials that fade from a rusty orange to an elegant gold and a stark grey are the name of the game here, and all three styles use them with abandon. The Sergio Lozano-designed Air Max 98 equips them on the swooping overlay that wraps around the upper, using both orange stitching and further grey accents for contrast. The hybrid Air Max 270 React coats Swooshes and heel pieces in the gradients while calling upon orange/grey eyelets and an orange heel Air Max 270-style cushioning unit. Finally, the Air Max 200 keeps things slightly more calm, relegating its shifting accents to the heel and select eyestays while providing contrast with gold Swooshes and blaze orange cushioning units.
All three pairs are available on the Nike webstore now, with the 98 priced at $180 USD, the 270 React at $170 USD and the 200 at $130 USD.
