'Fortnite: Chapter 2' Season 2 Brings a New Spy-Themed Battle Pass and Adds Deadpool

Following a bit of a delay, Epic Games has officially announced Fortnite: Chapter 2 Season 2 is available, highlighting its new secret spy theme to the Battle Royale. The footage above features a few of the new skins that will be introduced this season, including a muscular hybrid cat named Meowscles, a variation of Maya poised to look different to every player in a match, and more.
There is also some unreleased footage for this season’s Battle Pass that reveals Deadpool will join the game as a special skin, but a release date or official announcement has yet to been made.
Fortnite: Chapter 2 Season 2 will ask players to join a faction that will give specific challenges and rewards based on their choice. Point of interest locations like luxury yacht, volcano hideout, and the opulent mansion has been added to the map, allowing players to face off against opposing NPCs for loot rewards. New thematic weapons such as the new decoy grenades, proximity mines, and disguises have been added as well.
Epic Games has said that Season 2 will be a larger patch than usual and that the trend will continue throughout the season as more is added to the game. Grab Fortnite: Chapter 2 Season 2’s Battle Pass for 950 V-bucks (approximately $10 USD).
