KitKat McFlurry Returns to McDonald's Japan After 7 Years
Available all across Japan.

Fans of KitKat rejoice: after a seven-year hiatus, McDonald’s Japan is finally bringing back the chocolate-and-biscuit-flavored McFlurry.
The highly-popular collaboration was first launched back in 2007 and has made regular appearances at the fast-food chain ever since, until 2013, when it just disappeared. Thankfully, the wait is finally over, and chocolate lovers can get their hands on this limited-time special once again at McDonald’s branches all across Japan.
According to its recipe, the returning dessert is said to combine soft ice cream with finely crushed KitKat chunks, all tied together with a special couverture chocolate sauce. It’s also got its own branded cup, and the two companies even shot an ad for it featuring popular Japanese idol Moe Kamikokuryo and actor Takayuki Hamatsu.
Available exclusively in Japan for now, the KitKat McFlurry will hit McDonald’s restaurants February 12 and go on until early March. Each serving will set you back ¥290 JPY (approximately $2.64 USD).
Elsewhere in the world of food, a second “Bloody Angle Dougen Tong” vinyl café has opened in Shibuya.
