Maxfield Gallery LA to Hold "Furnished Room" for Latest Exhibition
To welcome the upcoming Frieze Art Fair in LA.

Event space and cultural hub Maxfield Gallery LA is set to hold its next exhibition, this time focusing on home furniture and complementing artworks.
The pieces being shown are those privately owned by Maxfield, under the exhibition title “Temporary Exhibition – Furnished Room.” Much like the ethos of curation for the retail space both in Malibu and Los Angeles, “Furnished Room” will house carefully selected pieces from the following assortment of furniture designers and artists:
Charlotte Perriand
Jean Prouve
Le Corbusier
Ettore Sottsass
Boris Lacroix
Jacques Adnet
Georges Jouve & Mathieu Mategot
Serge Mouille
Oldelberg Olsen
Charles and Ray Eames
Pierre Jeanneret
Jean Royere
Poul Kjaerholm
Alexandre Noll
Roy Lichtenstein
Ed Ruscha
Andy Warhol
Jean Michel Basquiat
The exhibition is to welcome Frieze Art Fair back to Los Angeles for the second year, giving attendees a fresh approach to what Los Angeles may have to offer in terms of lifestyle living. Alongside well-known artists and their art — Basquiat, Warhol, and Lichtenstein — Maxfield hopes to present history, importance, education and awareness for guests to explore in the world of functional furniture, the design aspects it brings to an environment, the atmosphere it provides to spaces and more.
