The series of images reinterpret Gentle Monster’s seasonal eyewear with Stone’s signature combination of traditional brush strokes and digital manipulation. Much like his album cover work for FKA Twigs‘ recent Magdalene, the campaign is surreal and futuristic, echoing the label’s aesthetic and the release of styles including the Makina, Kalo, Circle T, Krow and Ringa, which each incorporate technical shapes, colorful detailing and new twists on classic styles.
Stone’s work is the first chapter of Gentle Monster’s “MY MARS” campaign, highlighting just some of the 15 new frames that have released as part of the collection.
