A feature-length picture.
Burton has unveiled a short sneak peek of a feature snowboarding film that it’s been working on. Taken to YouTube, the trailer reveals that the upcoming movie is a full Burton production with the title of Burton One World: Snowboard Film.
Running at approximately 54 seconds long, the trailer is packed full of various cuts of pro snowboarders, like Danny Davis and Anna Gasser, doing what they do best. The video starts off with a stunning aerial shot of a snowy mountain during sunrise, accompanied by grand, regal background music, offering a possible glimpse at the tone of the movie. Furthermore, the video is filled with scenes of the Burton team performing difficult jumps, drops and board slides, bonding over recorded tricks they replay on camera previews. According to Burton, the movie’s title reflects its theme: “the bond of snowboarding spans the globe and connects us all. We are one world.”
Though no exact dates have been revealed yet, Burton One World: Snowboard Film is expected to release in the Winter of 2021.
