1017 ALYX 9SM Unveils Sleek Black Rollercoaster-Buckle Leather Clogs
Premium open-back slip-ons.
After unveiling its “Croc” and “Patent” iterations of the Leather Clog, 1017 ALYX 9SM has returned with yet another take on the silhouette, this time as a bespoke rendition of the premium open-back slip-ons. Featured is the Rollercoaster-Buckle Leather Clogs, taking on a much dressier and pared-down look than the aforementioned models.
The shoe comes with a sleek design that has been molded with minimal stitching. Sitting at its topmost section is a wide leather strap held together by a small silver-toned rollercoaster belt. “1017 ALYX 9SM” branding is subtly stamped over the metal head, complemented by tiny specifications at the sides as well as two gold release clips. The rest of the uppers are constructed with a single uncut panel of black full-grain leather that sees a slight angular dip at the toes. All of these details sit atop a fine Italian-made dress midsole, moderately raised at the heel to complete the bespoke look.
