BEAMS Teams With SUICOKE For Bespoke Fringe Sandal

After teaming up for winter-ready padded shoes and boots this past October, BEAMS and SUICOKE have joined forces once again — and are looking ahead to warmer weather with a bespoke fringe sandal. Arriving in both “Sand” and “Black” colorways, the co-crafted style is part sandal, part moccasin, part clog and wholly unique.

Inspired by ’70s design, the hand-made sandal features a fully closed forefoot that’s constructed of soft suede. This serves as a base for the signature moccasin-style fringed details, which are constructed of raw leather and equipped with traditional beads. These fringes are attached to the forefoot’s adjustable strap with belt loop-style pieces, so they can be easily removed if the wearer desires a more subtle look.

Heels are exposed and secured by way of a neoprene-and-velcro fit system with another adjustable strap, albiet one that’s more modern than the belt-style midfoot iteration. Thick two-piece EVA foam footbeds ensure a comfy fit, and a traditional outsole finalizes the style.

The BEAMS x SUICOKE Bespoke Fringe Sandal can be pre-ordered now for a tax-included price of ¥19,800 JPY (approximately $180 USD) via the BEAMS webstore. Delivery is slated for mid-March.
