UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 97 Releases UCLA Bruins-Inspired Colorway
Following the Nike and UCLA Athletics multi-year agreement earlier this month.
The newest collab between UNDEFEATED x Nike commemorates the UCLA and Nike partnership, in the iconic Bruins-color scheme.
The Air Max pair includes the streetwear’s namesake label, UNDEFEATED circling the entirety of the shoe and can be visible on the side panels of the shoe. This third colorway includes a Sail and White combo that appears on the mesh and leather constructed upper. Dressed in white, the strips of Aero Blue and Midwest Gold that wrap around the whole sneaker contrast well with the crisp silhouette. As a final nod to the university, yellow tabs with the UNDEFEATED branding can be seen on the tongue, along with a bright blue Nike logo. Other places fans can find an UNDEFEATED x NIKE detailing includes the insoles where the Nike Swoosh is visibly overlapping the UNDERCOVER logo. Adding to the details of the shoe is the 3M reflective detailing which offers another layer of depth to the design. To finish the look, the shoe hosts a white midsole and gum rubber outsole with Aero Blue and Midwest Gold.
There is no set release date yet but it is expected to be available in 2021. The UNDEFEATED x NIKE AIR MAX 97 Sail drop on Nike at a price of $180 USD.
