Take a First Look at Nike's Upcoming React Infinity Run 2 and ZoomX Invincible Run
Improved cushioning, comfort and support.
Nike will be debuting two brand-new running silhouettes soon: Nike React Infinity Run 2 and Nike ZoomX Invincible Run. For these silhouettes, the focus has been to optimize cushioning and lessen the risk of injury, while offering maximum comfort.
As a departure from its predecessor, the React Infinity Run 2 boasts updated Flyknit uppers for better strength and support in the toes, eyelets and foxing. Its sleek construction and woven uppers allow for more breathability in the vamp and midfoot, while reducing weight and bulk. The shoe has also been given Nike Flywire cables throughout the body for added structure. Other details like light padding around the collars and react sole cushioning technology round off the shoe’s design.
The Nike ZoomX Invincible Run sports a slightly bulkier design. It features similar uppers to the aforementioned silhouette, but with a little more padding around the collars and extra heel support. As a final touch, the shoe comes with highly responsive ZoomX foam technology, which, according to Nike, “returns more energy than any other Nike foam.”
The Nike React Infinity Run 2 and Nike ZoomX Invincible Run will be available on Nike’s website on January 7 — prices have yet to be confirmed.
In case you missed it, the Air Jordan 1 Centre Court has been vibrantly decorated with a strip of color to its all-white silhouette.
