Game of the Year 2020 Goes to 'The Last of Us Part II'
‘Among Us’ takes home Best Multiplayer and Best Mobile Game.

The Game Awards announced its list of winners for 2020 just this past week, and The Last of Us Part II was the big winner this year.
Taking home the win for Game of the Year, the Naughty Dog title also won Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Audio Design, Innovation for Accessibility, and even Best Performance by Laura Bailey as Abby. As expected, Ghost of Tsushima won Best Art Direction, while Final Fantasy VII Remake beat out Genshin Impact for Best Role-Playing, and also won for Best Score and Music. As for Best Indie, there’s little surprise that it went to Hades.
Some of the other biggest hits this year also took home well-deserved awards, including Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which won Best Family title, and Among Us, which won both Best Multiplayer and Best Mobile Game. The massively popular League of Legends proved victorious for the Best Esports Game, while the haunting sensation Phasmophobia earned Best Debut Game.
