Kid Cudi Has Fans Thinking 'Man on the Moon' Series Is Not Over
“To be continued…”
As the music world continues to reel from the arrival of Kid Cudi‘s Man on the Moon III: The Chosen, the rapper’s fans are now thinking that the Man on the Moon is not over. Despite Cudi noting that his seventh studio album would mark the end of the beloved MOTM series on the back cover of the project, fans are holding on to hope that we could see Man on the Moon IV at some point.
In the last 10 years, Scott Mescudi has been through hell and back. After feeling like his world was over, he found hope and overcame the darkness that was plaguing his life.
But happiness isn’t forever. What he thought was peace turns into a nightmare. He finds himself lost dealing with the same pain he had not felt in years. In one night, he must face himself again and fight to win back his soul from the evil Mr. Rager. Featuring epic production from the legend Dot Da Genius, Take A Day Trip, and the return of the team that helped start it all: Plain Pat, Emile Haynie, and Mike Dean, fall back into the world and twisted mind of Kid Cudi for the final installment of the Man On The Moon trilogy.
The newfound hope lies in the final cut on the 18-track Man on the Moon III: The Chosen album. At the end of “Lord I Know,” we hear a young girl’s voice, believed to be Cudi’s daughter, Vada Wamwene Mescudi, whispering “to be continued…” Kid Cudi added to the speculation, retweeting a fan’s tweet “to be continued” theory with a purple devil emoji.
