Nike's Air Penny 3 Returns in Sleek “Black Royal” Colorway
Penny Hardaway’s “1 Cent” logo pops out from its dark makeover.
Nike has given its Air Penny 3 a striking “Black Royal” colorway, much darker in comparison to the “Eggplant” from last week.
Most of the shoe sports sleek black leather uppers, accented with a handful of tiny blue details. Starting at the top of the shoe are two ripstop pull tabs that help wearers slide their feet into the shoe’s neoprene sockliner. While the shoe is mostly tonal, materials like suede, full-grain leather and rubber on the uppers give the shoe a textured look and feel. A black Swoosh is placed at the rear quarter, next to Penny Hardaway’s “1 Cent” logo, while “AIR” branding is embroidered at the heel. All of these details rest over a sleek midsole equipped with blue EVA plugs at the forefoot and a large Air sole unit at the heel.
Nike’s Air Penny 3 “Black Royal” will be available on November 20 on Nike’s website for $155 USD.
