Jaden Drops 'Spider-Man: Miles Morales' Soundtrack Cut "I'm Ready"
The highly-anticipated PS5 launch title drops November 12.
Jaden Smith has shared his musical contribution to the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales video game entitled “I’m Ready.”
The three-minute cut is a feel-good offering, and hears the young artist channeling his inner superhero as he declares that he’s more than prepared to protect his loved ones and save the world. Jaden switches from rapping on the verse and singing over the chorus where he proclaims, “They think I’m too young to stand up for the ones I love/But let me tell you something/I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m ready/To take on the world, I’m ready/You can’t stop me now.”
Miles Morales will serve as a launch title for the PlayStation 5 but will also be available for the PlayStation 4. The Marvel video game will pick up from where its Marvel’s Spider-Man predecessor left off, and follows the journey of the young hero after Peter Parker leaves the country with Mary Jane Watson. Morales is left to protect his city from a gang war as he balances his family life.
