Stüssy's Hong Kong Chapter Celebrates 1st Anniversary With Capsule Release

As Stüssy celebrates its 40th anniversary, the streetwear icon’s Hong Kong chapter is also looking to mark its first year in the city.

Opened November 2019, the Pearl of the Orient flagship, the retail expression follows the design direction established at other recent locations in London, Los Angeles, Seoul and Amsterdam Chapter locations conceptualized by design firm W&PA. The addition to Stüssy’s expansive worldwide Chapter network has quickly amounted a loyal customer base and has become a mainstay of Causeway Bay, one of Hong Kong’s bustling shopping districts.

To celebrate its one year anniversary, the Stüssy Hong Kong Chapter Store will be releasing a special capsule collection. The limited range is centered around a ceramic 8 Ball Vase which plays on the billiards element that has remained an integral part of Stüssy’s design language. Accompanying the homeware item is a T-shirt style emblazed with a photo of the 8 Ball Vase displaying a stem of Bauhinia × blakeana orchid-like flowers, the floral emblem of Hong Kong, accompanied by the Stüssy logo and “HONG KONG BUILT FOR THE LONG HAUL” in the brand’s signature handstyle.

The 1st Anniversary Capsule will be available exclusively in-store at the Stüssy Hong Kong Chapter Store November 13.
