Netflix Celebrates Fighting Anime's 'Baki' and 'Kengan Ashura' With Original Stan Bush Song, "Born to Fight"
From the man behind ’80s classics “The Touch” (‘The Transformers: The Movie’) and “Fight to Survive” (‘Bloodsport’).
Celebrating the popularity of its hit fighting animes, Baki and Kengan Ashura, Netflix recently tapped legendary ’80s soundtrack artist Stan Bush for an original track. Bush is best known for iconic hits like “The Touch” from the 1986 animated film The Transformers: The Movie and the “Fight to Survive” theme from Bloodsport starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.
“Born to Fight” is an original song set to scenes from Baki, Kengan Ashura and Stan in action. Capturing the fighting spirit of the aforementioned series, Stan reunited with his co-writer from “The Touch,” longtime collaborator Lenny Macaluso. The new release offers a taste of what to expect on the melodic rock icon’s upcoming album Dare to Dream releasing November 20.
