Air Jordan 1 Zoom's "Gym Red" Colorway Receives Premium Suede Uppers
Featuring an outsole made from recycled materials.
Jordan Brand has offered a sleek spin on its Air Jordan 1 Zoom silhouette: a “Gym Red” livened up by delicate suede uppers. This follows a gray and blue “Esports” iteration the footwear label put out just last month.
Most of the shoe has been given a dark “Gym Red” palette, bringing out a handful of details that come in black. A leather “Zoom Air” patch logo is woven at the top of the shoe, over a black tongue with semi-exposed foam, matching the shade of the shoe’s laces, “Air Jordan” logo at the upper rear quarter and cut-out Swoosh at the sidewalls. The rest of the sneaker’s body is kept clean with its supple suede finish. All of these features rest over a crisp white midsole, underscored by a gray and speckled outsole made from recycled materials.
Air Jordan 1 Zoom’s “Gym Red” will be available November 10, 6 p.m. EST on Nike Japan’s website for ¥15,400 JPY (approximately $146 USD).
