Nike Sportswear Readies Its Annual Air Force 1 Low "Flax" Release
The Swoosh’s sturdy seasonal staple is back once again.

Fall means flannels, festivities, falling foliage and, if you’re a sneaker aficionado,”Flax” Forces. Each and every fall, Nike Sportswear readies the Air Force 1 in multiple “Flax” makeups, the most popular of which is the Air Force 1 Low “Flax” — a shoe that’s back again and completely unchanged from its last drop in 2019.
Made up of a tan nubuck that calls to mind images of construction boots, the “Flax” boasts an almost totally tonal construction and leans into its boot-inspired styling with select accents. Standard flat laces are replaced by flecked rope laces, and the top eyelet is rimmed by a metallic silver rivet for the shoe’s most direct nod to boots. Touches of black appear on tongue tags and insoles alike, with midfoot Swooshes and debossed heel embellishments remaining tonal. Down below, gum midsoles and outsoles round off the look.
Following in the footsteps of the Air Force 1 CO.JP “Wheat” — a similar makeup, albeit one that used a much more hefty dose of chocolate brown accenting hues — the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Flax” is available now on the Nike webstore and retailers like Titolo. The MSRP is set at $130 USD.
