Snow Peak and Pendleton Reunite for Muchacho Blanket
Arriving in two color combinations.
Japanese label Snow Peak has revealed its sixth collaboration with Pendleton as the two brands release a limited-edition run of the Double Size Muchacho Blanket. The item, which is produced from a rich wool and cotton blend, features a pattern based on the Navajo “Mountain Majesty” design.
The “Mountain Majesty” pattern was originally woven in the Southwest of America between 1920 and 1940, and features a stair-like design. This pattern represents the four sacred mountains of the Navajo, while the butterfly-style design is a reference to the Navajo belief that butterflies deliver wishes to the gods.
The Snow Peak x Pendleton collaboration sees an interpretation of this pattern produced in two different colors. The first color features a bright yellow base, with hits of turquoise, red and black, while the second option inverts these colors with a black base offset with green, orange, yellow and white.
Take a look at the collaboration in the gallery above. The limited-edition blankets are available now from the Snow Peak web store.
In related news, Snow Peak also recently returned with its FW20 collection.
