Alpha Industries follows on from its collaborations with Gloverall and the South Korean label ADER error with its latest Fall/Winter 2020 capsule, this time around tapping IAB-Studio.

The South Korean label, founded by the rapper Beenzino, is known for its minimalist aesthetic that has found its way onto a pair of ASICS GEL-Venture 6 sneakers and LMC’s vibrant essentials in the past. Here, the duo delivers a harmonious combination of Alpha Industries’ U.S. Air Force aesthetic and IAB-Studio’s sensibilities, coming together on an MA-1 jacket, a sweater, and a T-shirt that are all reversible.

Dubbed the “IAB Flight Series,” this capsule collection first appears to represent Alpha Industries more than anything. Only a small amount of IAB-Studio branding appears on each piece, being either embroidered or stamped onto the front and back of each. However, when reversed, the South Korean label’s house colors of blue, orange, and yellow appear alongside dual branding.

Most notably, the collection centers around Alpha Industries’ signature nylon twill fabric that dominates its product range. The same material has been used on the crewneck sweater and T-shirt, creating pieces that are perfect as we transition into the colder months ahead. Lastly, each piece is finished with a colorful and re-branded take on Alpha Industries’ iconic flight tags.

The IAB-Studio x Alpha Industries collection will drop on a dedicated collaborative website on November 4 in limited numbers. The jacket is priced at ₩239,000 KRW, the crew neck is ₩199,000 KRW, and the jersey T-shirt is ₩99,000 KRW (approx. $211 USD, $175 USD, $87.50 USD respectively).

In other news, Palace and New Era are celebrating London, New York, Tokyo and Los Angeles in a new capsule.
