Check Out the Patent Leather-Covered Air Jordan 1 "Black/Metallic Gold"
A standout high-gloss style from the Jumpman’s Holiday 2020 retro lineup.

When Jordan Brand announced its Holiday 2020 retro collection, one of the styles that turned the most heads was the Air Jordan 1 in “Black/Metallic Gold.” With a full patent leather construction and regal color scheme that draw from a famous 2003 Air Jordan 1 Mid — a style even worn by Cassie in the “Me & U” music video — this high-gloss, high-cut sneaker serves up a compelling nod to a bygone era of Air Jordan lifestyle footwear. Now, we’ve received a closer look ahead of its impending release.
Uppers are built fully of glossy patent leather. A tuxedo-like black shade is the name of the game on the forefoot, midfoot and most of the heel. However, the shoe’s signature gold accents arrive on the Swooshes, collar and collar flap’s ball-and-wings logo for luxurious metallic flair. An extra touch of gold graces the Nike Air tongue tag, and gold contrast stitching on the black midsole rounds off the look.
The Air Jordan 1 “Black/Metallic Gold” will reportedly release on November 30 release via Nike SNKRS and retailers like Foot Locker with an MSRP of $170 USD, though this has yet to be officially confirmed by the Jumpman. For those who can’t bear to wait, pairs are available at Stadium Goods now, with prices ranging from $379-$410 USD.
