Pharrell and adidas Originals' NMD Hu Gets Serious With Triple Black Makeover
Chinese characters read “Human Race.”
Monochrome seems to be the new direction for Pharrell Williams‘ otherwise colorful line of adidas Originals NMD Hu sneakers, as the lastest pair to drop will come in triple black.
Following on from a teased pink pair and the bold yellow offering, this triple black Pharrell x adidas Originals NMD Hu sports a full-length BOOST sole unit that supports the black Primeknit upper.
On that upper, you’ll find tonal embroidery that reads “Human Race” in Chinese, as well as components such as the lace cage system in black. This is accompanied by the complementing sole unit plugs, two pairs of 3M-speckled laces in white or black, and a leather heel tab that’s also served in black.
Rounding out the pair is the signature Pharrell Williams and adidas Trefoil branding found on the heel tab, as well as the co-branded sock liner that has become synonymous with this sneaker.
