Pharrell and adidas Originals Go Monochromatic On Latest NMD Hu

Pharrell and adidas Originals have presented their third NMD Hu collaboration of Fall 2020: a lively yellow makeup. Following up a two-shoe “Extra Eye” set from September and a three-pack of “Human Race” iterations from mid-October, this new yellow pair uses a monochromatic tone and Hindi letters for a bold look that’s perfectly in line with the collaborative ethos established by Skateboard P and adidas in years past.

Knitted uppers are done up entirely in yellow, and feature tonal embroidered Hindi lettering that reaches from tongue to toe while spelling out “Human Race” on each foot. The slightest touch of contrast is provided by black trim on the collar, and a latticed yellow lacing system with flecked yellow laces ensures an adaptable fit.

Insoles feature Pharrell’s playful “anatomy” graphic and sit directly atop a full-length yellow BOOST midsole for exemplary comfort. Yellow midsole bricks and outsoles round off the new take on a familiar style.

The Pharrell x adidas Originals NMD Hu “Human Race” in yellow will release on the adidas webstore and at select retailers come November 7. The MSRP is set at $220 USD.
