Oi Polloi Has Its Say on Mephisto’s Rainbow Silhouette
An understated rework on a classic shoe.
Mephisto’s Rainbow shoe is undoubtedly the brand’s most recognisable. With its soft leather upper, chunky midsole and speed lacing system, the unique-looking shoe is a somewhat unsung hero in the world of casual footwear.
Now though, for Fall/Winter 2020, British retailer Oi Polloi has its say on the matter, and has given the shoe an understated makeover. Updating the leather with a plush beige Nubuck upper, the shoe retains its original DNA while taking on a sleek new look.
Featuring a tonal Mephisto label and Oi Polloi-colored stitching on the side wall, the the Rainbow is completed with padded edging and an integrated SOFT-AIR in the midsole.
Set to launch very soon, the Oi Polloi x Mephisto Rainbow will be available from the Oi Polloi webstore.
