Carhartt WIP has collaborated with six independent record labels to release the “Relevant Parties Vol. 1” collection. Taking its name from the brand’s recently-launched podcast series, the collection features DFA, Ghostly International, Jazzy Sport, Ninja Tune, Stones Throw and Public Possession, all of which features in the first six episodes of the series.

The collection features T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and gadgets paying tribute to these record labels, each of which was designed in collaboration with the labels. Alongside the co-branded collections, Carhartt WIP will also sell a limited-edition cassette tape featuring the work of each label in a nod to their ’90s house roots.

Marking the launch, NTS is holding 12 hours of shows made up of back-to-back two hour slots curated by each label and hosted by the likes of James Murphy from DFA and Little Dragon from Ninja Tune. The collection is available now from the Carhartt WIP web store, and a second volume of Relevant Parties is due to follow in early 2021, celebrating another six independent record labels.

In related news, Carhartt WIP also recently released its full Fall/Winter 2020 lookbook.
