Nike Air Max Plus Preps for Halloween With Spooky Spiderwebs and Glow-in-the-Dark Details
A perfect piece for any roadman’s Halloween getup.
Nike Sportswear has served up a whole host of spooky takes on classics like the Air Force 1, Air Max 97 and Air Trainer 3 this Halloween, and the latest silhouette to get in on the action is the Air Max Plus. Boasting glow-in-the-dark detailing and plenty of spiderweb hits, this new Plus is the perfect piece to complete any Nike-loving roadman’s Halloween fit.
Uppers are built from black mesh, with the majority of the aforementioned spiderweb hits appearing on the synthetic mudguard and heel piece. The Plus’s signature wavy plastic overlays — originally inspired by palm trees swaying in a tropical breeze — take on a glowing hue that lights up in the dark. This same tone is replicated on the midfoot’s Swoosh, while more traditional TN branding graces tongues and heels alike. High-gloss plastic toe bumpers keep the forefoot secure, and black EVA foam midsoles contain glowing green Air Max units. A final touch of detail is provided by the green glow outsoles, which are centered around a plastic midfoot shank with one last TN badge.
This seasonally-appropriate Air Max Plus will release via Nike GB in the coming weeks, and is priced at £139.95 GPB (approximately $183 USD).
