Shortly after reactivating his Instagram to post a video for his presidential campaign, we are now learning that Kanye West is looking to further his push for Christianity by trademarking the phrase “God Save America.”

According to reports, the controversial figure’s team filed the trademark for the line to be used on apparel like sweaters, hoodies and T-shirts. Officially filed October 7, the line is expected to be part of Kanye’s ongoing bid to insert himself into this year’s presidential election. In recent weeks, ‘Ye has come under fire for using deceptive methods to gather signatures to appear on ballots and diverting attention from the front runners of the important election.
