Disney+ Has Found Its Ms. Marvel
Iman Vellani will play Kamala Khan.

Disney+ has found its Ms. Marvel. The streaming giant has cast Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan in a new series.
The show is expected to launch on the streaming service in 2021. Kamala Khan, Ms. Marvel, a Pakastani-American Jersey girl who has the ability to shape-shift, stretch her limbs and alter her appearance, will make its live-action debut since first appearing in Captin Marvel comics in 2013 — created by Sana Amanat, G. Willow Wilson, Stephen Wacker and Adrian Alphona. Vellani, however, may appear on screen sooner than Disney+’s series in an upcoming Captain Marvel sequel. Production for the Disney+ series will begin before the end of this year.
In case you missed it, Samuel L. Jackson will star in an upcoming Nick Fury Disney+ series.
