The official trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War‘s Zombie mode has been released. While various leaks and teasers have shown a glimpse of what to expect, we now get a better picture of the new gameplay, characters and story.

Coming in at just under nine minutes, the trailer shows off Zombie mode’s in-game footage, alongside insights from developers regarding some of the new features the mode will bring. For example, progression has been unified across all of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War: global ranks and weapons will stay connected in multiplayer, so players won’t have to start from scratch. The mode has been “shaping up to be the most epic zombie experience, ever,” mentions Lead Writer Craig Houston. “Don’t be surprised if some things don’t want to stay dead.” He also mentioned that the game will take players through a “completely different story within our universe.” Furthermore, the mode will include new field upgrades, support weapons and optional exfill. Activision has confirmed that players can enjoy additional in-game content, like extra maps, for free.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is slated to launch on November 13 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC — currently available for pre-order on Call of Duty‘s dedicated website for $59 USD. Scroll above for a look at the official trailer.

In other news, Activision is investigating Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare Season 6 crashes.
