Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike‘s Dunk collaboration has been teased and rumored since this spring, and now we’ve been given a first look at the highly-anticipated sneaker. Revealed in the NBA bubble by none other than LeBron James, the bejeweled Dunk Low discards the collage-style build of past CPFM x Nike kicks like the Vapormax 2019 and Blazer Mid in favor of a blinged-out look that artfully toes the line between extravagant and tacky.
Covered from heel toe toe in glittering, Swarovski-esque rhinestone crystals, the shoe serves up 360 degrees of textured style. The base for all this bling is a monochromatic synthetic material with a light gray shade, intentionally unremarkable to ensure all attention remains focused on the embellishment. Of note, however, are the collar flaps: usually stitched directly into the upper, here they hang loose in SB Dunk High style. Gray midsoles and outsoles arrive down below to round off the build.
As this is a first glimpse of the truest nature, no official release date or pricing information for the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Dunk Low has been revealed. However, long-standing rumors indicate a holiday 2020 arrival.
