Saint Laurent Gives Boxing a Luxury Spin With Sleek Everlast Collaboration
Inspired by Michael Halsband’s photographs of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Saint Laurent is embracing its athletic side in its latest collaboration, joining forces with Everlast for a compact boxing collection featuring select apparel and training gear. House creative director Anthony Vaccarello was inspired by retro black and white portraits of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat — which were originally shot by Michael Halsband in 1985 — leading him to reimagine the sleek black and white garments exclusively for the brand’s Saint Laurent Rive Droite space.
The assortment encompasses six pieces including a pair of shorts, boxing gloves, headgear, hand wraps and a punching bag. To embody the authentic look of professional boxing attire, the trunks have been crafted in satin with a 4-inch elastic waistband, which Saint Laurent has now upgraded in order to maximize the fit. The punching bag and gloves are both constructed in high-quality leather, helping to ensure that the luxe renditions still retain their overall durability. Each item has then been stamped with a bold co-branded patch, highlighting Everlast and Saint Laurent’s distinctive logos.
The Everlast x Saint Laurent collection is available now, exclusively at Saint Laurent’s Rive Droite store in Paris.
