Savannah, Georgia artist Quando Rondo continues his hot-streak as he preps for his forthcoming QPac album. The Never Broke Again affiliate has not only showcased an incredible ear for melody in the early stages of his rise to prominence, but has also championed heartfelt offerings like “Letter To My Daughter” celebrating the birth of his child. With his new single “Bad Vibe,” Quando returns to nightlife haziness while contemplating the superficial nature of finding love in the club. He turns what’s a retreaded trope and cliche into a standout thanks to an honest depiction of the struggle to curb temptation.

“Whole lotta options but it’s not the same/ And they will never notice how far we came/ You’re the only one keep my demons tame/ I swear you grow up, but you never change,” He raps in his first verse. Quando Rondo is joined by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and 2 Chainz, both who come equipped with Marshawn Lynch “Beast Mode” references and an education in foreign cars.

“I really don’t write though. I get a beat, and I just freestyle. I freestyle, write a little bit, freestyle, think about it, write a little bit … It’s based on keys. Those fruity sounds. I don’t really know about the beats, but it be the sounds I been looking for,” Quando said to Passion of the Weiss during an interview last year. Watch his latest above and revisit his “Marvelous” visual from his upcoming QPac project.
