After showcasing its vibrant SS20 lineup, NEEDLES has returned with new bespoke silhouettes, this time in the form of Safari Jackets and matching pants in cream-khaki and olive. The silhouettes come emblazoned with sporadic medleys of paint splatters, giving each piece a unique pattern.
Coming in a light khaki base, the Safari jacket features vivid splashes of white and purple paint all throughout the piece. At the front of the garment are four angular flap pockets, complemented by beige buttons that appear at the pockets, cuffs, epaulettes and central closure. The jacket sees a semi-boxy cut, open collars and a wide waist belt to wrap up the bespoke design. In contrast, the olive safari jacket is accented with purple and blue splotches of paint, over a looser chore coat construction that sees a single chest compartment and two waist pockets. As finishing notes, the piece includes standard collars and a frayed hemline for a more casual look and feel. Both silhouettes come with matching pants, completing the visually striking layers.
NEEDLES’ Paint Splatter Safari Jackets and Pants are currently available at Nepenthes’ website, ranging from $222 – $296 USD.
