Nepenthes has unveiled its SS20 lineup. Spanning an assemblage of vibrant mid-layers from NEEDLES and Engineered Garments, both labels have brought their distinctive Americana-inspired designs to life.
The range features a slew of warm-weather garments like light parkas, shirts, track pants, blazers and other accessories, colored in bright seasonal palettes as well as muted earth tones. One noteworthy silhouette is NEEDLES’ signature track pants, coming in olive, burgundy and black. Vivid contrasting side stripes of purple, blue and pink are complemented by the label’s butterfly logo embroidered just under the left pocket. The floral button-ups and diamond-pattern parkas present a refined take on bold layering goods, while muted essentials like the purple trucker jacket and brown leather shoes showcase an elevated take on mature silhouettes.
Another highlight is a light olive parka from Engineered Garments, constructed with a breathable, batted exterior shell. The piece comes with an asymmetrical central closure, lined with silver-tone snap buttons that run down to the adjustable hemline, while a small chest pocket on the left rounds up the piece. Other garments from Engineered Garments like the beige field jacket, striped shirts, wool trousers and tall bucket hats finish off the assemblage of new seasonal offerings.
