Duo Please Wait has dropped their debut EP, Black & White. The fresh collaboration, backed by Australian beatsmith Ta-ku and Canadian artist matt mcwaters, clocks in at approximately 20 minutes with a total of six tracks. Please Wait offers a balanced amount of guest verses for their debut, providing three tracks that enlist alayna for the track “Rush,” Kerri for “Over” and Masego for the lead single “Flight 99.”
Ta-ku and mcwaters describe their Please Wait project as “the culmination of numerous online exchanges and years of sharing voice memos, stems, musical ideas & TikTok links.” Black & White is a product of the duo’s cathartic approach to self-expression, covering issues and experience from different points in their lives.
