Modernica Exhibition Showcasing Takashi Murakami, BAPE & More Rare Collaborations to Be Held in Paris
During the city’s fashion week.
Paris Fashion Week Men’s is just around the corner, which means the City of Light will be packed with fashion and art-related festivities. To coincide with the event, Parisian concept retailer Legacy Store will be holding a special Modernica exhibition, showcasing Modernica‘s Case Study Furniture Shell Chairs reimagined by artists and labels such as Takashi Murakami, Jean-Michel Basquiat, BAPE, Keith Haring, and Futura.
For over 30 years, Modernica has partnered with many labels and artists to revisit its iconic model. Included is BAPE‘s rendition, which sees the label’s ubiquitous green ABC CAMO dressing the furniture item. Elsewhere The household staple portrays signature artwork by Futura, Murakami, Cleon Peterson, and much more. The limited-edition and rare archival designs will be presented during the exclusive exhibition at Legacy Store in Paris from January 13 to 18, 2020, open 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. each day.
