Pokémon, 100 Thieves, and Modernica have officially unveiled the collaborative collective. The home goods capsule reimagines four iconic Kanto region starters—Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu—across collectible fiberglass shell seating.
Handcrafted at Modernica’s Los Angeles facility, each piece is built atop the historic Case Study Fiberglass Shell chassis originally created in 1948 for MoMA’s International Design Competition. Marking a move beyond traditional streetwear apparel into furniture design, the capsule incorporates blue and white illustrations inspired by fine china porcelain across the shell body.
Every chair comes fitted with a polished chrome Eiffel base to maintain a showroom-ready finish. The custom graphics capture the distinct traits of each character while bridging fine art porcelain motifs with mid-century design.
