SATISFY has opened up shop in Paris, creating a flagship store out of two mirroring spaces in the city’s Marais neighbourhood.

Marking the brand’s first permanent physical location, the store spills over two sections named “Fuel Station” and “Supply” respectively.

Facing one another across rue de Saintonge, the two spaces offically open to the public on Friday, September 4. Supply, at number 47, carries the full apparel and footwear range, while Fuel Station, at 54, covers the hydration and nutrition side. Guests standing in one can see the other through the window, and crossing between them is part of the visit.

Montreuil-based architecture and design studio ciguë designed both interiors in close dialogue with SATISFY founder and creative director Brice Partouche, treating the project as a gateway into the brand’s wider world of trail running, music, film and the outdoors rather than a conventional running store.

“Together, Supply and Fuel Station are the most complete expression of SATISFY we’ve ever created. They’re the physical embodiment of the world we’ve been building for the past eleven years,” says SATISFY Founder and Creative Director Brice Partouche.

“SATISFY has always been an analog brand, so a physical space became the purest way to express it. Photography became murals and oil paintings. Products became artifacts. In a world increasingly lived through screens, we wanted to create a place worth leaving home for.”

Supply is anchored by a monumental three-part oil painting by New York-based artist Othelo Gervacio, which draws on natural history dioramas and the American West realism that has long fed the brand’s imagery.

The existing shell of the building was largely left alone — walls keep their imperfections beneath a soft grey wash, and piping stays exposed — while Douglas fir, wool felt and cast-zamak pieces made in ciguë’s own workshop sit against concrete, wire mesh and stainless steel.

A bespoke lounge chair by Paris-based furniture-maker Jean-Baptiste Durand, built as a collage of chair archetypes, sits beside a second-hand tuning-car subwoofer wrapped in automotive carpet. Artifacts picked by Partouche — rare punk records, vintage magazines, jewellery — are placed throughout, and a custom scent was developed with Parisian perfume studio ROOM1015.

Fuel Station takes the opposite approach, drawing on neighbourhood convenience stores and hardware shops as much as grab-and-go cafés. Steel shelving, cardboard boxes and wire-mesh displays keep it flexible, water and electrolytes run on tap for flasks and speed cups, and a seaweed-based gel is produced in the room itself, with mushrooms grown on site.

Supply and Fuel Station open on rue de Saintonge on September 4.
