Kim Jones to Celebrate Life & Work of Judy Blame With Dior Men's Show
Jones first met the late stylist, art director and jeweler when he was 16.

After working with various artists over recent seasons — including Daniel Arsham, KAWS and Hajime Sorayama — Kim Jones will celebrate the life and work of Judy Blame with Dior Men’s Fall/Winter 2020 show. Jones first met Blame, a legendary stylist, art director and jeweler, when he was just 16, and collaborated with him on a number of projects across his career, including accessories while Jones worked at Louis Vuitton.
Shortly before Blame’s death in 2018, he was working with Jones on compiling a book of his work. Announcing plans to honor his late collaborator, Jones told WWD that “Judy was one of the most key people that I met when I was very young. We were friends — not close friends, but he was someone I hugely admired.” Jones will unveil the full Dior Men’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection during Paris Fashion Week later today.
