German brand Coutié has readied another special set of Vans — this time an “Old C Logo” pack consisting of the beloved Old Skool and Sk8-Hi. Unlike Coutié’s powerful previous “Nightmare Society” Old Skool, the “Old C Logo” pack veers away from making a worded statement, instead opting to let the timeless silhouette and crisp new details do the talking.

Each hand-crafted custom uses a classic black/white canvas Old Skool or Sk8-Hi for its base, then adds bright orange Jazz Stripes and orange/black laces that can be wrapped around the high-cut collar of the Sk8-Hi if the wearer so chooses. A split Olde English C that flips between white and metallic silver appears on the heel, giving each shoe its moniker. More special branded embellishments are then present on the lateral midfoot, where a silver Olde English Coutié text logo sits above blocky white text that states “Spring/Summer 2020, Germany.” Vulcanized sail midsoles and gum outsoles complete the look.

This latest seasonal Coutié/Vans release is available now on the Coutié webstore, with the Old Skool retailing at $130 USD, and the Sk8-Hi offering a slightly raised $140 USD price point to match its higher cut.

If you prefer Swooshes to Jazz Stripes, Nike SB recently released a SB Dunk Low Pro “Shadow,” the latest addition to the popular “J-Pack.”
