Late last year, Alexander McQueen renovated its Oversized Sneaker with a fresh new twist: a translucent air-bubble infused sole. The bold new take offered a clean overhaul to the shoe’s normative white rubber sole, updating the long-lived footwear staple to more contemporary standards. Now the imprint has returned with a new take on the sneaker, dousing its black leather upper with a wave-like 3D print.
Employing a black leather base, the heel of the new iteration comes in white leather, with the ankle collar doused in a 3D print design featuring various blue hues that overlap one another. As is standard, the front lace-up fastenings use equally chunky laces to match the silhouette’s aesthetic. This is all met by the thick and chunky transparent sole that runs throughout the entirety of the sneaker.
