Continuing to develop video game adaptations of popular manga/anime, Bandai Namco has now revealed a new game for Yōichi Takahashi’s Captain Tsubasa series.

Titled CAPTAIN TSUBASA: Rise of New Champions, the new game captures the signature fast-paced action of the popular soccer manga/anime. Although not much has been revealed, the game is expected to center around protagonist Tsubasa Ozora and his teammates with explosive offensive and defensive moves defining the gameplay. The game will feature an expansive story mode based on the series along with online and offline match modes for competitive play.
