Over this past weekend, two collaborative Converse footwear silhouettes were teased with Pigalle’s Fall 2019 Nike basketball apparel collection. We now take a closer look at both pairs — the Pigalle x Converse All Star Pro BB and the Chuck 70.
Starting with the All Star Pro BB, Pigalle keeps its thematic court colorway intact, borrowing the Nike GRIND court’s neon accents. The Nike Quadfit mesh sees star and chevron detailing while the eyelets arrive with multi-color holes. The lightweight upper sits on a React sole unit with a rainbow grid pattern on the bottom of the outsole. Volt color can be seen at the side in the form of a thin stripe as well as on the co-branded “Star” logo.
The Converse Chuck 70 will be available in both a natural beige colorway as well as one with a gradient lightning storm pattern. The textured fuse film and canvas uppers are extremely resilient and are contrasted by hits of Volt on the foxing, side stripe, and top eyelet. Orange also appears on the inside of the shoe, and on the signature rubber stamp at the heel. Pigalle’s positive message “the power of music to move the world forward” can be seen printed around the back of the heel.
Look for all three models to drop on November 7.
For more footwear news, Nike’s Air Force 1 “Skeleton” is rumored to receive a black makeover this Halloween.
