Following our on-feet look at Nike’s power-lacing Adapt Huarache, the sportswear titan has now shared the official images and release details for the Back to the Future inspired shoe. Initially based off the movie’s tech which saw Marty McFly in power-lacing Nike MAG sneakers, the shoe features a refined edition of its innovative Adapt technology, further spinning the brand’s iconic Huarache sneaker for the silhouette’s basis. The two colorways slated to drop later this week include a “White/Black” iteration as well as an “Opti-Yellow” version.

The first of the colorways, the “White/Black,” features monochromatic black, grey, and white accents atop the breathable mesh-dominant upper, featuring various panels for increased support to both the wearer as well as the self-lacing system. More details include red text and blue squares throughout. The second iteration, the “Opti-Yellow,” features a vibrant yellow mesh upper, with white typography marking the leather lacing cage on the tongue. Both colorways allow for the wearer to effectively customize the shoe’s appearance via built-in LED lighting — which can be controlled via the provided app that controls the shoe’s various features.

You can check out the official images of the Nike Adapt Huarache in the gallery above. Both colorways are slated to hit SNKRS on September 13, with a set retail price of $350 USD.
