Zach Galifianakis Brings His Show on the Road in 'Between Two Ferns: The Movie'
With Matthew McConaughey, Peter Dinklage, Keanu Reeves, Chance the Rapper & more set to appear.
Netflix has shared the official trailer for Zach Galifianakis‘ Between Two Ferns: The Movie.
Following the setup of his Emmy Award-winning talkshow on Funny or Die, the film adaptation sees an interview gone wrong with with Matthew McConaughey as Galifianakis “momentarily” kills the actor-turned-professor in the process. Will Ferrell sends the host and his team across the country to create 10 more episodes as punishment, and if the Between Two Ferns crew completes this task, they’ll turn from viral laughing stocks to network TV stars.
Galifianakis is set to bombard a number of high-profile celebrities with his unorthodox interview methods, with the trailer showing Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage running after the crew, TV host David Letterman asking about the show’s pathology and Chrissy Teigen inviting Galifianakis to “take this upstairs.” Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Rudd, John Legend, Adam Scott, Chance the Rapper, Keanu Reeves, Brie Larson, Tiffany Haddish, John Hamm and other important figures are also due to make appearances.
